Safety Shoes

Many people would go running and without even knowing it you pick up bad habbits of running such the positioning of your feet. Many bad habbits like that can cause injuries. A German reasearch group has come up with a new app that prevets these injuries.

Twitter

Many people at a young age use twitter to comunicate with eachother like telling friends im going to be hanging out and who wants to come. But you can use twitter for educatiob too. You can use it like the students follow the teacher and when he wants to ask a do now the kids can go on twitter and the teacher tweets the assignment. The problems that could possibly happen is if say a teacher or student says or tweets something inapropriate when not in the school hours and the teachers and students would know about it and teenagers do use say "inapropriate" content to their tweets so it could very much happen.

Wood-Ridge Blue Devils Recreational Wrestling

I can help the community by helping the kids with wrestling as a coach for recreation. I will not be getting paid so I will use it as community service. I do not mind helping out the kids with wrestling because now that I am in High School they can learn from me and I can help them strive to be just as good or even better than i am now.

Typhoon Haiyan

Typhoon Haiyan was a devastating incident that had happened on November 8, 2013. Many people have lost their homes and lost people close to them. This catastrophe killed over 10,000 people. Lately there have been many storms left and right and its frightening to to witness or go through a storm like this. We had Sandy recently and now the Philippians had Typhoon Haiyan.

Wiki Wiki Wiki

1) We can use wikis in our classes by organizing data for curtain classes like say History you can have notes in one folder and another chapters notes in another folder.
2)Wikis is a benefit because its more organized and people can change or add things that are needed or share with people who can add and use it to.
3)I can create a wiki in class and use them for a group project.
4)I used wiki to look up info for papers and schoolwork before and have done projects with WEB 2.0 class

Invisibility Cloak

          If I was chosen to wear an invisibility cloak to do a good deed for a day I would stop a bully. I would stop what the bully is doing and once he notices what is holding him is invisible he would stop what he is doing. Many people report people but it doesn't affect the bully sometimes. I would defend the kid being bullied and the bully won't know where I am so he would stop and either walk away or just stand there in shock.
          There are cameras in the school but sometimes what people do isn't caught on the camera. Many people disagree with cameras but while people are being bullied no one really has proof or evidence sometimes but cameras help every once in awhile. We need more people who stand up to bullies and many people like my friend greg do that kind of stuff.

Sports 101

          The class I would add to our curriculum is Sports 101. Sports 101 would give detail about sports all around the world including the history of the sport and all the rules that have changed or have gained throughout all the years. There will be chapters about different sports such as: Football, Wrestling, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, etc... I think many students would take this course to learn more about how the sports work around the world and maybe more about the sport they are playing or want to play. 
          The class would be throught the periods of the day as an elective. I would suggest not having it first period because most kids are tired and sleepy first period. The class would take only take the amount a period would be. The tests would be based on what we learned throughout the chapter such as: Rules, Polocies, Positions, etc... We would have a quiz at the end of each week about what we learned through that week.
          This course would be fun and enjoyable to many kids who enjoy playing sports and would like to learn more about the sports they like or play. This can also help kids learn to be a comnentators for games such as football. That is why I think this course would be for many kids.

• lights are replaced with large continuous light panels with countless amount of flickering light waves
• the laser tail light helps drivers have good vision even in harsh weather conditions
• This car will improve how people drive and this shows where the driver is going and still has blinkers like the usual car but in waves

Portable Xbox

Dean Takahashi (the gaming industry author) started a team to work on a Portable Xbox immediately after the home system launched, while the other half was tasked with driving down the 360's production costs. There is no release date yet but they have been working on this for a while so no one really knows what it will be called but people are calling an Xbox2Go. 

World History

              For World History, my teacher is Mrs. Forsyth. I expect to learn more about how life was in other places like Europe and Asia. We don't have any class trips but we play games and have fun during class. Right now we are learning about the Renaissance. This was a time where I think everything cool now was boring then and anything really boring to us was like the best day of there life back then.
              We use a projector every once in awhile in the class when she wants to show us a video about the class or when she has a power point about the section we are working on. Recently she pulled up a power point about the Renaissance during class. We took notes on the key things that we need to know and how things were back then. Personally I do not like the Renaissance.
              I like the class and the teacher because we can joke around during class and have fun and at the same time get work done and do our work. One project we had to interview a classmate about what they liked and we both had a set of questions. There were many questions like what is your favorite TV show and if you could describe yourself in 3 words what would they be. Thats all for World History right now and I hope to learn interesting things this year.

What 9/11 means to me.

When 9/11 had happened I was only 2 years old. I do not like the # 911. 911 is the number we call for help. Then we remember that # as one of the worst days in American History. R.I.P to all who did not survive this tragedy.

Hi my name is Gabe. I like to play football and hang out with my friends. I dislike missing out on what I can learn like missing a football practice. I have a younger sister and an older brother. During the winter I wrestle. This year I might do Track & Field. Thats pretty much it about me.

Samsung Galaxy New Smart Watch!

The Galaxy Gear is a full-color Android-based device about the size of an old calculator watch. It runs its own applications and was shown running apps developed by both Samsung. It can take photographs through a camera on the wristband facing away from the person wearing the watch.It also has a pedometer that can track the wearer’s activity.
